Emeraude toubia is a Canadian Actress who is best known for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' which she is enamoured. Emeraude Toubia is also a skilled model and dancer. Montreal born, she spent her childhood in Texas. Since her early years, she has studied a variety of styles. In her 15th year she was competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame after, in 2008 she was an contestant on Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010, she began acting when she played an office receptionist in an Telemundo episode. She also was a part-time actress in her debut film, the action drama Tattooed Love.
